Why Skin Type Changes a Fragrance

Perfume interacts with your skin’s natural oils, pH level, and moisture to release its scent. This means the same bottle can smell citrusy and light on one person, and warm and musky on another.

Oily Skin

• What happens: Oily skin holds fragrance molecules longer, so scents last much longer and project more strongly.
• Best fragrance types: Light florals, citrus, and fresh aquatic scents — since oily skin will naturally amplify them.

Dry Skin
